In Le Douet des broches, a man carries out his work as the days and seasons go by. Around him, the flora and fauna play along. Fish, frogs, dragonflies and moorhens share the pond with him. Yet a threat looms over this gentle harmony, and disaster soon strikes, sweeping everything in its path.

She films the man she loves, trying to capture something that keeps slipping away. The man is haunted by the woman he loved before her, who vanished tragically. Between them grows a fragile bond, woven through absence, mourning and the desire to love again.

On the Normandy coast, two women meet and live together for a while. Between the one who passes through and the one who stays, gestures fail to coincide and rhythms drift apart. Out of this imperfect coexistence, their paths shift without their ever seeing it coming.

To go where the telling does not come easily. What becomes of narrative when it meets trauma? What becomes of speech? To attend closely to the ways it appears, unravels, is gathered up — or fails to be.
